Job Description
The Recruiting Manger is responsible for delivering multiple facets of recruiting success across Delta Group’s Field Operations. The Recruiting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent in the field as we continue to grow. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The recruiter will responsible for assisting with the recruiting process, including organizing interviews, briefing candidates, educating prospective candidates on Delta’s work-place culture, processing onboarding paperwork, advising hiring managers, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for full cycle of recruiting across specifically focusing on our Field Operations, including sourcing, conducting phone interviews, coordinating interview schedules, presenting qualified candidates, reviewing pre-employment assessment results and background checks, and applicant and candidate communications.
Identify and manage recruiting strategy for assigned business areas; source qualified candidates through the effective use of strategic sourcing via creative resources; direct sourcing, social media, networking, pipelining, cold calling, candidate mining, etc.
Make hiring recommendations, extend, and negotiate offers of employment to select candidates including full compensation packages.
Employ interviewing techniques to assess the fit between a candidate’s previous experience and the position.
Influence leadership to proactively succession plan and forecast hiring needs in advance of open positions.
Interact with senior and mid-level management on a consistent basis to ensure overall priorities are correctly assessed and processes are understood
Work with executive leadership/hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions and fill critical positions as needed
Organize, lead and document post-interview debriefing/feedback with interview teams.
Analyze and assess existing employment processes; make recommendations for improvements.
Develop position-specific search strategies that leverage the best proactive recruiting methodologies
Build networks to source qualified candidates, including regional college relations activities such as coordination of campus visits, interview teams and follow-up interviews
Ensure compliance with all legal/governmental/regulatory requirements
Conduct high volume of candidate screening calls and interviews for open positions as assigned
Screen resumes for appropriate skills, credentials, experience and knowledge and conduct in-person and phone screen interviews to determine technical and cultural fit
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisitions/Recruitment for Field Operations/Investigations with a proven track record of effective results
Field Operations/Investigative recruitment required
Proven candidate sourcing skills
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in a rapid-growth organization (preferably company size of 250+)
Self-starter approach with the ability to accomplish goals
Ability to multi-task, plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategic concepts into actionable plans
Excellent presentation skills: must have the ability and confidence to speak clearly and concisely to all levels of management, both oral and written.
Global perspective; Must have a proven track record of accomplishment and experience of working effectively with senior management.
Strong negotiation skills.
Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess a keen attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to understand and navigate change effectively, and to help others to do so.
Experience in relevant social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn) required
Experience with recruiting platforms including, but not limited to Indeed, Ziprecruiter, Glassdoor, etc. required
Excellent verbal communication skills
