Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist / Lab Coordinator

Skills & Experience:
minimum 2 years in medical field
proficient medical assisting, phlebotomy, and lab processing skills
a proven track record of achieving goals
strong customer support handling and problem solving skills
excellent verbal and written communication skills
are detail-oriented and able to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines
at minimum High School Diploma ; 2 + years of post-secondary education preferred
MA certification, Phlebotomist certification, preferred
IV experience a plus
Responsibilities:
Room patients, obtain patient vitals and document accordingly
Identify and assess patient's needs
Effectively communicate with integrative providers, learning to anticipate their needs
Provide lab testing directions and information to patients
Phlebotomy and specimen processing for general and functional lab testing
Maintain a clean workstation, inventory and assist with laundry
Handle patient concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution — with accuracy and efficiency
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Keep records of patient interactions, process patient accounts and file documents
Follow clinic procedures, guidelines and policies
Be willing to go the extra mile to satisfy patients/customers
Compensation: $15- $18 per hour depending on experience
Hours: We are looking for a medical assistant/ lab coordinator, 28 to 40 hours a week, from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are from 8:30 AM to 1 PM.
Target date for hiring is May 2023
