- Certified Medical Assistant, CMA (AAMA) American Association of Medical Assistants
- A minimum of one-year full-time experience in the last three years as a CMA in a Primary Care setting.
- Provide three letters of recommendation from practicing physicians, RNs, or supervisors attesting to his/her professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, etc. Reference letters must include the name, title, phone number, date of reference, address, and signature of the individual providing the reference. Letters of reference must have been written within the preceding two years.
Perform efficiently in patient care situations. Following established
protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events.
Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions. Notify
the supervisor, director, or other designated person regarding problems the HCW cannot manage.
Maintain documentation of all treatment provided per clinic
directives, and prepare such records and reports as required. All records and
reports must be legible. Abbreviations must be only those listed in local instructions.
Exercise appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in the direction and
coordination of health care team members, patient care, and clinic activities.
Start date:
- As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)
- Monday-Friday
- 8-Hour Day Shift
- 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- Reliably transportation is required and expected for commuting to and from the work site.
- One year's experience
- CMA license (AAMA) American Association of Medical Assistants
- Certification of Basic Life Support
