Job description
Carolinas Fertility Institute is currently seeking a patient-centered, versatile, and dependable CMA/RMA with excellent people skills to join our Asheville clinic. The desired candidate will have solid work experience with women’s health (OB/GYN, L&D, etc), office procedure assistance, and electronic medical records proficiency. Full-time weekdays with occasional weekend and holiday rotation shifts. Growth for the right candidate may include training as an Andrology Technician. Training (appx 1-2 weeks) will take place in our Winston Salem clinic. Accommodations are supplied and mileage is reimbursed when during training. CFI offers excellent benefits.
Primary Duties:
· Abstract Patient Charts
· Clean and Set Up Rooms Between Patients
· Blood Draws
· Take patient vitals
· Room Patients
· Chaperone
· Assist providers with Procedures
· Place Instruments in Auto Clave Area
· Open Charts / Flow Sheets in EHR
· Enter Lab Orders into EHR
· Enter IUI Notes / Dictations
· Verify Notes and Images Have ported To Patient Chart in EHR
· Medical Scribe when required
· Pack Biopsies / Samples For Send Out
· Scan CMA Paperwork
· Help Answer Incoming Calls
· Return Patient Phone Calls/Emails

Requirements:
1. Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Science (Biology, Chemisty, Health Science)
2. Completion of CMA course and maintaining certification as medical assistant
