We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will be supporting a busy studio with 2-3 Advanced Medical Aesthetic Injectors working per day.
Responsibilities
Assist Advanced Medical Aesthetic Injectors in exam rooms
Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document all information into the electronic medical record
Give instructions to patients as instructed by Advanced Medical Aesthetic Injectors
Ensure all related waivers, labs, and information is filed, if available, into patients’ medical records prior to their appointment
Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare for sterilization as required
Responsible for creating an unrivaled customer experience for all patients
Respects OVME culture, and abides by OVME Culture Guide
Maintains an expert level knowledge of all company products and services as well as competitive products and industry trends
Acts as the point person for all in studio patients from escorting them within the facility to providing both pre-and post-procedure guidelines for care, recovery and optimal results
With the Studio Manager, coordinates customer post visit product swag, samples and giveaways
Manages individual patient consulting as needed for company products and services
Proactively and within the context of individual patient needs, cross-sells other company products and services on a consultative basis
In coordination with specialists and nurses, supports the maintenance of the OVME aesthetic within procedure and consult spaces
In coordination with specialists and nurses, ensures procedure and consult spaces are maintained in a healthy and clean manner
Reports to studio manager
Requirements
- Minimum (1) year experience as a Medical Assistant required.
- Experience working in a medical office or the cosmetic industry is a plus.
- Additional Medical Assistant Credentialing is a plus (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).
- Must have availability to work evenings and Saturdays.
- Organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
