Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform as an instructor in the Career Technical Training class setting, presenting instruction in the profession of clinical laboratory testing. Promote a positive atmosphere within the classroom setting conducive to optimal training, learning, and motivation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An Associate Degree in Medical Technology, the successful completion of an approved program of teacher preparation in Vocational Education and the equivalent of two years of trade experience, and three years of recent trace experience leading to a broad base of knowledge and skills in clinical/medical technology. Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology preferred. Three years of clinical teaching experience preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
State Certification as a Medical Technologist/Technician (Phlebotomist). A valid Regular Driver License is required.
DAYS/HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; OFF Saturday - Sunday
