Job Description
The Appraisal Desk Manager administers all secondary market duties that aid in selling and purchasing loans.
Essential Functions:
Manage all aspects of the appraisal desk for the Mortgage and Commercial Departments. This includes and is not limited to:
Ordering appraisals within SLAs
Ensuring appraisals are received timely
Reviewing appraisals upon receipt and notifying appropriate parties of issues and Change of Circumstance re-disclosures
Maintaining positive working relationship with appraisers and vendors
Keep apprised of natural disasters and FEMA’s website to ensure CCB Disaster Procedures are followed. This includes notifying management of disaster areas, communicating these areas with the lending teams including the Disclosure Desk, and ordering Disaster Inspection reports promptly.
Review weekly and monthly account reconciliations and ensuring accounts are kept current and management is notified of outages/delays
Manage Title I post-closing process including ordering Final Inspections and final loan disbursements
User set-up for mortgage and commercial systems including setting up new hires, deleting users upon termination, resetting passwords, etc.
Manage assigned LOS dashboards daily
Assist with post-closing and pre-funding audits
Provide additional support to Post-Closing and Commercial team as directed by Loan Review Manager
Environment and Interaction:
Normal office environment
Reports To: VP/Operations Manager
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of Mortgage Operations experience with primary focus on processing and closing
Minimum 1-2 years of Commercial Lending experience highly desired
