Operational Responsibilities
Review daily uploads to Brokerage folders for billing backup.
Review P/L staging for upcoming billing and any delays in documentation.
Create invoices based on review of quote and billing sheets. Incorporating all costs associated with initial transportation as invoicing is produced.
Be the main conduit for all client, sales person, and booking team communications regarding pricing related matters
Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy/validity of all invoicing as it relates to customer quotes and agent P&L's
Key Skills and Qualifications
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skill
Computer literacy and competent in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
Understanding of ocean carrier services and operations (including carrier partnerships/alliances)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret foreign language to English translation
Understanding of industry used terminology
Experience working in a fast paced, team oriented, deadline driven department
Problem solving skills
