BronxWorks is hiring 1 Data Entry - Program Specialist for the Bronx Fire Program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with program supervisors to determine equipment and supply needs before placing purchase orders.
- Place and maintain purchase orders in the web-based procurement system, Nexonia, and record documentation related to the receipt of the orders.
- Maintain accurate and adequate inventory supply levels for office supplies.
- Control inventory levels within provided budgeted amounts.
- Work closely with program supervisors, the internal Procurement Department, and outside suppliers to execute purchase orders.
- Alert program supervisors to discrepancies in invoicing and received supplies in a timely manner.
- Complete data entry into the web-based database Salesforce.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the program supervisors.

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Excel is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management.
- Must have basic skills in word processing and Excel.
- Must have data entry experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
- High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual both verbal and written preferred.
- Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile, and copier equipment.
- Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management.
- One year experience preferred.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
- Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.
- Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.
- Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.
