Great Hill Solutions is looking to hire an experienced Records Management Specialist to support our Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract. The contract provides surge support to military treatment facility staff in the area of medical record review, labelling, and processing. Employees can be based anywhere in the continental US and can work remotely when not traveling, however, the position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel. Traveling will be about 75% throughout the year and may require 2 weeks to 4 weeks stay at a time.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Handle records in accordance with the records management requirements.
Process paper and electronic documents in accordance with current SOPs.
Conduct appropriate coordination, as needed, and document accordingly
Maintain database/records management for each case using the records management and case processing system
Prepare and sort all incoming electronic files
Process electronic redaction of exempt information for case records
Comply with established procedures to support FOIA request
Create daily, weekly, monthly reports to provide task updates to government customers
Basic Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active Public Trust
Above 75% travel is required
Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS
Must have a valid and updated passport
Three (3) years related experience with two (2) years direct experience processing documents
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to acknowledge and respect confidential information.
Knowledge of MS Office and understanding multiple data entry systems
Knowledge of Health Information Management (HIM) is a plus
Knowledge of Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR/EHR) is a plus
Degree and/or background in nursing is preferred
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritize the workflow in and extremely dynamic environment
Ability use a bar code scanner to scan the barcode of a record
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00; However, Seneca Holdings considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
