Title : Data Entry
Client: State of Arizona
Location: 1740 W Adams St Suite 3011, Phoenix, AZ, 85007
Payrate: $17/ hr on W2
Position Description :
The fundamental purpose of the Arizona Board of Fingerprinting is to decide whether appellants are rehabilitated and are not likely to commit additional criminal offenses. This position directly works with members of the public to provide information on how to go through a complicated application process, answer a high number of phone calls, process mail, file documents and computer data entry. Convey complex concepts, including legal terms, to clients. Mailing and filing: the Board receives a several hundred filings and applications each month, and the administrative assistant handles much of this work. Preparation of administrative hearing materials: photocopying, scanning, and organizing. Assemble and prepare application files for investigator and Board review.

Skills Preferred :
Interact politely and respectfully with people. This position is in a small agency - currently five employees - and a friendly disposition is vital Handle calls from clients who sometimes can be difficult and unfriendly Work independently and with minimal supervision Handle confidential files that contain criminal history information with professionalism and privacy Strong organizational and time-management skills are crucial Ability to adapt easily to changes in operations and policies Highly developed interpersonal communication
Experience Required :
Familiarity with Windows operating system. Personal computer skills in Google apps, cloud software, word processing, spreadsheets, and data management platforms Microsoft Office: intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Access, Outlook (or other e-mail programs), and Excel (or other spreadsheet programs).
Education Required :
Associate’s degree in a related field
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
