Description:
This is a Part-Time Position (28 hours) that can be worked during the day or evening. For the right candidate, we can work out a schedule that's perfect for you!
For daytime hours, work will be completed Monday-Friday.
For evening hours, work will be completed Monday-Thursday.
Summary
An Order Entry Specialist is able to interpret customer needs based on Purchase Orders (POs) and input them into our ERP System with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Order Entry Specialists are able to troubleshoot problems with a purchase order, reach out to customers to confirm the correct information, and correctly input all data for orders. Order Entry Specialists act as the secondary team to answer phones, route calls, and assist with customer inquiries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
Receive, review and enter customer purchase orders (POs) by verifying item, pricing, customer and shipping information
Resolve discrepancies by following standard processes or escalating order issues to relevant team
Compare data with original purchase order (PO) to verify order entry is accurate and complete
Answers phones when necessary, providing excellent service to all customers, vendors, and stakeholders
Work with the Customer Support Supervisor and with the General Manager if needed to ensure proper customer service is being delivered, and escalate issues or complaints appropriately.
Inform customers of deals and promotions
Take payment information and other pertinent customer account information, and enter/update in ERP system
Use extensive knowledge of products, materials, and services we provide to achieve high customer satisfaction
Enter all types of orders but not limited to: Approvals, reorders, stock and custom stock
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Requirements
High school diploma
1+ years of relevant experience processing detailed data entry
Experience entering customer product orders preferred
Tech savvy, with strong general computer skills.
Strong typing skills with high speed and accuracy rates
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately enter data into Company databases
Ability to maintain structured focus and productivity for long periods of time
Ability to work under pressure and react quickly
Strong phone, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on quality service and professionalism with all customers and coworkers
Active listening capability
Ability to evolve with an ever-changing environment
Ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong computer/keyboard skills; experience with Epicor ERP a plus
