Job Description
Printed Circuit Board Manufacturer is seeking a Full-time Customer Service Person to work in Huntington Beach. The Customer Service position will provide customer service via telephone and written correspondence to ensure Contract Review and to enhance customer relations. Interfaces with all departments and functions of C2C. Promotes teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Acts as first point of customer contact (telephone/e-mail).
- Performs Contract Review (accepts and amends contracts) as stated in the Quality Management System relating to Sales
- Follows processes associated with Contract Review
- Coordinates international activity to complete Contract Review: (a) Understands and works within the confines of U.S. Export Law, (b) Properly executes various methods of international payments (terms) and (c) Coordinates with freight carriers, freight forwarders and custom brokers
- Coordinates customer contract needs with Logistics (e.g. consolidations, blanket orders, and special contract requirements).
- Cooperates with other team leaders to best serve the customer and overall organization.
- Responsible for order entry in ProCim
- Performs follow-up calls/emails
- Works with Production Control and as a liaison between Sales and the Operation regarding status, changes, and urgent requests of our customers
- Responsible for clerical support and maintenance of document control for the department.
- Assists Accounting Department to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
- Performs Customer Satisfaction Feedbacks.
- Point of contact for various PCB contracts
- Identifies processes and tasks that need improvement and carries them through to completion without supervision.
- Provides back up to other Customer Service Representatives and Sales functions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of six years related experience in customer service involving contact with customers.
- High degree of customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in communications with customers and co-workers in areas of service and problem solving.
- Must be patient and able to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Must be organized and able to function effectively with high level of accuracy and detail in multi-tasked environment.
- Outgoing and pleasant phone personality a must.
- High level of computer skills and office equipment knowledge.
- Proactively seeks improvements without supervision. Professional leader. Must be able to exercise good judgement.
Language Skills:
- Must be able to read and interpret documents, manuals, and procedures. Most written literature is in English. Must be proficient in communicating in English, both written and oral.
