Job Description
Job Description:
The data entry specialist will work with patient records and clinical trial data to ensure it is precisely sorted and recorded. This position is responsible for performing all data entry functions as related to the organization's clinical research trials. Ensure the front desk is kept in order and manage and filter all communication from outside vendors and customers to internal employees either by phone, email, or verbally.
Responsibilities:
EDC Completion
- Review and process research charts for accuracy and completeness.
- Electronic data capture completion (EDC).
- Quality control of EDC
Source Data Verification:
- Gather data from multiple source documents and enter into electronic database system.
- Address data queries and make data-related corrections as needed.
- May have access to sensitive patient information, maintaining the integrity of the records is a very important responsibility.
Query Resolution
- If a record requires more investigation, associate will retrieve the information from the research team to assess for completeness, accuracy and errors.
Requirements:
- Must have or be familiar with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certification.
- Must be able to multitask in challenging and busy circumstances. Must be flexible with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This position requires an individual who works quickly and goes beyond the call of duty.
Other requirements of the job role include:
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Data management experience preferred.
- Ability to use various databases.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while having strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret department documents when required.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required in this position (between Lake Worth & Hialeah)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
