Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient resolution of issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various technical challenges.
Major Duties
- Provide first-level support for help desk inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktop support and network administration tasks.
- Utilize Active Directory for user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of accounts.
- Analyze problems reported by users and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Assist with the configuration and troubleshooting of network devices such as Meraki.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate unresolved issues or complex problems.
- Deliver excellent customer service while managing user expectations effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or technical support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of desktop support practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Active Directory for user management is essential.
- Understanding of network administration concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
