What you will be doing…
As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support across all business units, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT systems. Your multifaceted role involves:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Log, track, and document all user issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate IT team members or departments.
- Assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.
- Provide onboarding support and training for new employees on IT systems and processes.
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve processes and enhance the user experience.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and IT best practices.
- Maintain Active Directory, network file shares, and other key IT resources.
What we are looking for…
You will need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Proficiency in Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware.
- Intermediate knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Office 365 admin center.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Associate degree in computer science or a related field.
- CompTIA A+, ITIL, or other relevant certifications.
