Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level IT Asset Manager to join our IT Helpdesk team that supports the use of technology in our organization. As an Asset Manager, your primary responsibility is to take a detailed inventory of a company's hardware and software assets.
Successful candidates for this role will be eager to learn, demonstrate a keep aptitude for digesting, following and creating documented procedures and policies, and be dependable with tasks associated with business-critical components of technology while providing a first-class customer experience to our customers. The ability to work independently and collaboratively to ensure timely resolution or escalation, if necessary, of requested activities and complete them on time. Also, effectively communicate and collaborate tasks during shift transition or incidents is critical.

This position’s schedule is for Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately recording and tracking all incoming and outgoing goods, products, or materials. This involves using inventory management software or databases to maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, locations, and any changes in inventory.
- Inventory Auditing: Conducting periodic audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records and identify any discrepancies. You'll need to reconcile physical stock counts with the data in the system and investigate any discrepancies to resolve them.
- Organization and Maintenance: Ensuring that the inventory storage areas are well-organized, clean, and safe. Properly labeling and categorizing items to make it easy to find and retrieve stock when needed.
- Collaborating with Team: Working closely with other team members, such as help desk technicians, Account management team, etc. to coordinate the flow of devices and ensure smooth operations
- Setting up desktop PCs and laptops for in-office and remote use
- Mailing out remote setups when requested.
- Troubleshooting hardware, such as: PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, etc
- Asset onboarding, deployment and retiring.
- Placing service calls devices such as printers, desktops, monitors, etc
- Assisting with Helpdesk duties such as answering the phone when needed
- Performing desk moves & PC Set up
- Locate and retrieve equipment from employes that are no longer with the firm
- Computer imaging
- IP Phone Setup
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Comp TIA A+
- AD basic knowledge
Preferred Knowledge Base
- Asset management experience
- Computer life cycle experience
- Logistics experience
- Ticketing systems and functionality.
- Email filtering such as Mimecast.
- Remote support software and setup.

Physical Functions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, type, listen, and use repetitive motion. Tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard or workstation and involve frequent handling of computer equipment. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead to service hardware and software used by the organization. Occasionally the employee will need to be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
