About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Recruitment Consultant or Fractional HR Specialist to manage the hiring process for Coutura LLC and Luly Yang Couture, luxury retail and design businesses based in Kirkland and Seattle, Washington. This role involves designing and implementing a seamless recruitment process, including online testing, interviews, and candidate evaluations. Your expertise will help us identify top-tier talent for key positions across multiple locations, including our Seattle retail boutique and Kirkland design studio.
This is a part-time, contract-based position with the flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment for luxury retail, design, or creative industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Execute Hiring Processes:
- Develop and administer role-specific online assessments and scoring systems.
- Manage candidate screening, including pre-screening questionnaires and behavioral tests.
- Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates against predefined criteria.
- Collaborate on Role-Specific Requirements:
- Understand the business goals and tailor hiring strategies for key positions, including:
- Showroom & Operations Manager.
- Styling Consultant & Client Relations Specialist.
- Buyer/Merchandiser (responsible for sourcing products, curating collections, and supporting client sales and services)
- Design Studio Support Staff
- Candidate Shortlisting:
- Present a shortlist of top candidates to the business owner for final interviews.
- Streamline Recruitment Technology:
- Use platforms like TestGorilla, Vervoe, or similar to automate assessments.
- Provide Strategic HR Advice:
- Offer insights and recommendations to attract top talent in the Northwest luxury retail market.
- Oversee Recruitment for Multiple Locations:
- Manage hiring for the Kirkland showroom, Seattle boutique, and Kirkland design studio, ensuring talent aligns with the brand’s luxury standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment for luxury retail, hospitality, or creative industries.
- Familiarity with pre-employment assessment tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of luxury brand standards and customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred.)
