Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Representative / Recruitment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within our client organizations. In addition, this position involves reviewing and updating HR documents, policies, and procedures to align with company needs and industry standards.
As an HR Representative / Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring an efficient, respectful, and compliant process, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
Job Duties:
- Recruitment and Sourcing:
- Post job openings on various platforms, including career pages, job boards, and social media.
- Utilize LinkedIn and other platforms to actively source passive candidates.
- Screen resumes, review applications, and shortlist candidates based on qualifications and established criteria.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential candidates for future hiring needs.
- Provide regular updates to management on candidate sourcing and hiring progress.
- Candidate Onboarding & Relationship Management:
- Guide candidates through the hiring process, ensuring clear communication and a positive candidate experience.
- Manage reference and background checks for potential candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, including resumes, interview notes, and evaluations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
- HR Administration & Policy Management:
- Collaborate with management to update and revise company policies and procedures as needed.
- Create and maintain job descriptions for both current positions and contracted roles.
- Ensure all HR-related documents are accurate and up-to-date.
Physical/Environmental:
- Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the role as required, and to work in the environmental conditions required, such as: standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, speaking loudly and clearly, seeing and hearing things both near and far away; fine finger and hand manipulation in use of computer, chalkboard and/or dry erase.
- Access to reliable transportation
- Work during the hours of 8-4 Monday-Friday.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a recruiting or staffing agency role, or similar HR position (1+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with various recruiting platforms and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Bachelor's Degree
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Department of Education Federal Criminal History Report (FBI)
- PA Arrest Conviction Form (Act 24) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
- Location: In-person, 1811 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031
- Travel: 15%-20% of the time
- Compensation: $45,000 per year
