Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee orientation. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Duties
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
- Maintain accurate data entry in HR systems (Munis experience preferred)
- Support compliance with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) regulations and affirmative action planning.
- Collaborate on various HR projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
- Utilize tools such as Lever for recruitment processes and project management software for tracking progress.
- Provide support in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of performance management practices.
- Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail.
- Experience with MUNIS or similar HRIS systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Lever for recruitment processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
- Understanding of employee orientation processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience using ATS for recruitment tracking is advantageous.
- Ability to contribute to affirmative action planning initiatives.
