Job Description
Position Summary:
BTST Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts and drive talent acquisition strategies for the organization. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top candidates to meet staffing needs across all departments. This role will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, develop job postings, and ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process. The HR Recruiter will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s workforce, ensuring a diverse and highly skilled team, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process including scheduling interviews, approving job requisitions, posting jobs, and sourcing qualified candidates.
- Collaborates with HR Director and departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Manages the onboarding process by sending offer letters and acquiring pre-onboarding documentation from newly hired employees.
- Utilizes the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to accurately onboard employees.
- Maintaining and updating Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and EEO compliance reports.
- Coordinating and scheduling both virtual meetings and in-person interviews.
- Collaborating on the development and refinement of job descriptions.
- Develop a recruitment pipeline of qualified candidates using job boards and networking.
- Screen candidates and generate internal profiles
- Support talent onboarding, engagement and retention
- Provide regular reporting updates and key metrics to stakeholders
- Manage talent-related document storage including candidate applications, offer letters, contracts, and agreements.
- Writes creative ads/communications and prepares other recruitment materials appropriate to targeted audience.
- Ability to develop applicant sources through advertising, organization and Internet postings, attending job fairs and working with professional societies and community resources.
- Ability to enthusiastically market the organization to potential applicants.
- Identifies and makes recommendations to enhance the process and procedures in the employment process.
- Actively pursues learning and self-development
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience (at least 2+ years of full cycle recruitment)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and maintaining professional relationships with external organizations and academic institutions.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: database management and spreadsheet software; constructing and producing reports; data input, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
