Job Description
```Responsibilities:```
- Implement and administer HR programs and policies in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and reference checks
- Conduct new employee orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefits information
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in human resources management
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (such as Paychex, Kronos, or Ceridian)
- Experience with employee evaluation processes and performance management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively
- Knowledge of organization design principles is a plus
- Familiarity with benefits administration processes is preferred
- Understanding of OSHA regulations is a plus
- Experience with labor unions.
