About New Beginnings Family Academy
Opened in September 2002 offering grades K-3, New Beginnings Family Academy (“NBFA”) now offers ten years of active and engaging learning experiences from Pre-K through 6th grade. NBFA is a tuition-free, public charter school, proudly distinguished by:

Current Employment Opportunities
Human Resources Associate
Classification: Full-Time (40 hours a week)
Summary: The Human Resources Associate must contribute to NBFA’s mission by supporting the school’s Human Resources department.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Recruit for all open NBFA positions
- Post all open positions on NBFA website and various external sites
- Maintain all sites with current and updated information
- Create, update and revise all job descriptions
- Review and sort resumes from all employment sites
- Attend off-site career fairs to recruit and meet potential new candidates
- Conduct telephone interviews to screen potential candidates
- Maintain and update an accurate log of potential candidates
- Schedule interviews with potential candidates and the administrative staff
- Conduct reference checks on new employees
- Develop critical partnerships with area colleges and universities
- Facilitate the pre-boarding and onboarding process for new employees
- Maintain personnel files, trainings and background checks
- Assist Human Resources/Payroll Manager, as needed
Certification, Knowledge and Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work diligently to assist the HR department
- Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Experience with ADP workforce Now a plus
