Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing engaging and effective educational materials that enhance learning experiences. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create instructional content that meets the needs of diverse learners, utilizing various learning technologies and design principles.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative, high-quality leadership development training using Articulate Storyline, focusing on a variety of leadership topics such as communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking; including e-learning modules, classroom training, and assessments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Utilize tools such as Articulate, and Vyond, to ceate visually appealing and interactive learning experiences.
- Present instructional materials to stakeholders for feedback and revisions.
- Proofread content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to educational standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs through learner feedback and performance metrics.
Skills
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage learners.
- Familiarity with classroom training techniques and adult learning principles.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Build custom eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline, incorporating multimedia, simulations, assessments, and interactive elements to enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Assess Learning Needs & Evaluate Impact
- Work with key stakeholders to identify leadership development needs within the organization, and use data-driven approaches to assess the effectiveness of learning programs. Continuously improve content based on feedback and evaluation metrics.
- Create Blended Learning Solutions
- Develop both eLearning modules and classroom-based content to create a blended learning approach that combines virtual and instructor-led learning experiences, ensuring a comprehensive leadership development strategy
Ensure Alignment with Organizational Goals:
- Align leadership training content with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities. Ensure all programs support the growth of emerging and established leaders within the organization.
Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end design and development process for leadership courses, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Continuously research and implement the latest trends in leadership development, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning technology to keep content fresh and innovative.
