LA Boat Dealer is looking for a highly motivated team member focused on selling fun!
Position Summary:
As a Sales Consultant at LA Boat Dealer, you will play an essential role in helping customers find the perfect boat and accessories by guiding them through every step of the sales process. Your passion for providing outstanding customer service and your ability to achieve sales targets will drive success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet walk-in customers, respond to phone inquiries, and follow up on online leads using the dealership's CRM tools. Build strong relationships by understanding and addressing customer needs.
Product Presentation:
- Present and demonstrate boats and accessories, highlighting key features and benefits to customers.
Sales Process Management:
Oversee the sales process from initial contact through to final sale, including preparing quotes, conducting trade evaluations, and ensuring that pricing meets margin and customer satisfaction goals.Work with the business manager to assist customers with financing options and requirements.Close sales and meet/exceed monthly and annual sales targets.Stay updated on boat models, brands, features, accessories, and industry trends to provide customers with the best recommendations.Offer excellent post-sale service to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Follow up with past clients to maintain strong relationships.Attend and participate in sales meetings, boat shows, and customer events, both on-site and off-site.Complete and maintain all necessary sales paperwork throughout the process.Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
- Prior experience in marine sales is a plus, but not required.
- A solid understanding of marine products, accessories, and boating trends is preferred.Physical Demands:
- Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods (either standing or sitting).
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Proficient hand-eye coordination, and good vision and hearing to interact with customers.
