Job Description
Bee Mighty is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides support and resources to local families before, during and after their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) journey in the surrounding Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Highlight of Major Accountabilities
- Committee oversight for:
- CRM, Outreach, Marketing and Events
- Operations
- Processes donations, gifts and sponsor payments
- Works with CRM database to maintain donor records and information
- Sends donor acknowledgement letters for tax purposes
- Manages Sharepoint and database
- Works with Executive Director on ad hoc activities
- Onboard new board members
- Finance and Accounting
- Assists Executive Director in pulling any financial information for filings or reporting
- Works with Executive Director and Finance Committee to check and balance reconciliations monthly
- Programs
- Direct management of specific programs including:
- Bed Rest Bundles
- NICU Care Packages
- Manage the moving and transporting of supplies to storage and to hospitals
- NICU Dinners
- Assist with Parent Mentor Program (as it develops)
- Events
- Work with ED and Events Committee to assist with coordination and execution of all aspects of annual Gala and various other fundraisers throughout the year
- Video production
- Volunteer Coordination
- Marketing Elements
- Etc.
- Coordinate with Bidpal, ONE Cause (or other system) for all fundraising activities
- Outreach and Marketing
- Assist ED, Marketing and Outreach committee with marketing materials
- Support outreach efforts including mailings, emails and social media
- Collaborate with Outreach committee on recruitment of volunteers and programming
- Work with board and leadership team to recruit new board members
- Work with Outreach and Marketing on various marketing events including NICU Reunion Picnic, Nurse Practitioner Conference, etc.
- Represent Bee Mighty at community events
Experience and Requirements
- 3+ years experience in non-profit space
- Database or CRM experience highly preferred
- Program Management
- Finance and Accounting experience helpful
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Work Hours
- 20 hours per week
- Remote with some in person meetings and eventsResponsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the successful execution of multiple projects within a program
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables
- Utilize project management methodologies such as Scrum or Waterfall to drive project success
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address project issues and risks
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program strategies
- Monitor program progress, track milestones, and report on program status to senior management
- Ensure adherence to program budgets and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
- Create and maintain project documentation using tools such as Visio
Experience:
- Proven experience in program management, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Waterfall
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve project issues
- Demonstrated experience in meeting facilitation and stakeholder management
- Experience in program development and implementation
- Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
