Job Description
Medical Receptionist
· Open office and get office ready for the business day
· Check patients in/out
· Verify insurance, making sure we accept the policy
· Collect all co-pays, deductibles and past due balances
· Scan all new patient intake forms to patient's chart
· Schedules patient appointment/ follow-up appointments
· Maintains master calendar for providers
· Complete medical records request and any other required paperwork or documentation
· Check faxes and scan file throughout the day
· Call and confirm patient appointments the day before their appointment
· Helps in the day-to-day activities within the office as needed
· Establishes and maintains patient files and records
· Reads and prioritizes incoming mail
· Check voicemail throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
