Job Description
National Home Builders is one of South Carolina's largest home builders. We are growing and need help in our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify variances and discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or related field
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage or QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Experience in accounting is preferred
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
