Job Description
The University of Maine at Presque Isle is hiring for a full-time Degree Audit Specialist.
The Degree Audit Specialist manages all aspects of the Academic Advisement module, Degree Progress Report (DPR), within the Student Information System for UMPI and conducts outreach to students, faculty, and staff regarding utilization of the DPR. This individual is responsible for monitoring the accuracy of degree audits, researching problem situations, and following up with advisors, students, and administrators as needed. Additionally, they must anticipate and solve procedural problems from policy changes that could affect degree audits.

Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the salary range is $42,000 plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents. REQUIRED:
- A bachelor’s degree is required. Education requirements may be waived on a year-for-year basis for candidates with substantial directly related work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with automated student information system, as well as automated degree auditing system.
- Experience with college-level curriculum.
PREFERRED:
- Experience working with college students is preferred.
