Job Description
Campground Park Ranger - Maintenance and Grounds
Our beautiful lakeside campground is seeking a Park Ranger to join our team. Lake Trask Timber Trails Association is a gated, private recreational camping community. We are located in Washington State in Mason County near Mason Lake between Shelton and Belfair.
As a Park Ranger, you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining the 160 acre wooded park that includes close to 600 campsites, a motor-free lake, heated swimming pool, lodge, workshop, sport courts and restrooms throughout the park. The park has its own well and water supply.
Park Rangers report to the Lake Trask Park Manager and will work closely with our other Rangers. Duties include but are not limited to completing work orders and projects related to the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds associated with LTTTA.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to safely operate various equipment including chain saws, log splitters, weed whackers, etc. Having a background in construction and the repair of electrical and plumbing as well as experience operating a small backhoe is a plus.
We are looking for a reliable and highly motivated person who is a self-starter and has a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work independently in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
- Will be required to use repetitive motion, reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 45 lbs.
- This is a Non Law Enforcement position.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
