Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and equipment
- Perform fiber splicing and termination
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fiber optic networks
- Test and measure signal strength and loss using specialized equipment
- Install and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient network operations
- Provide field service support to customers as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools for fiber optic installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols
- Experience with fiber splicing and termination techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for handling fiber optic cables and equipment
- Familiarity with network installation and configuration processes
- Understanding of Cisco routers and their functionalities
- Basic electrical knowledge for working with power systems related to fiber optic networks
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
Requirements:
- Must have your own Truck
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be highly motivated
