Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Duties
- Provides assistance in a consistent manner that demonstrates caring, responsiveness and knowledge of the property
- Monitors security of the building by use of the camera and by perimeter and grounds patrol throughout the shift (CCTVS) and maintains camera recordings
- Responds appropriately to emergencies including fire, security and safety incidents
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills or property systems including fire, water, electrical and mechanical switches and valve for both common areas and individual units
- Initiates and cancels evacuation procedures appropriately
- Records and logs shift events in the RS Log to assure continuity and to provide an overview of shift activity
- Aware of House Rules and implements interventions in a positive way that encourages resident compliance with the house rules
- Monitors move-ins and move-outs to prevent damage to common area and assure safety and reserve / schedule the usage of Freight Elevator
- Accepts and release authorized packages and provide Lost and Found services
- Reports any maintenance related deficiencies that are observed and submit work order for maintenance resolution
- Reports complaints and incidents of unusual or questionable activities
- Directly assists the General Manager in assigned aspects of daily security operations
- Oversees driveway, loading zones, ramps, and entrances and helps prevent congestion; facilitates special parking requests; and monitors parking garage and parking lot for improper parking
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Keep all information regarding Homeowner's Association owners, tenants, guests and fellow employees in the strictest of confidence
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
- Require frequent walking, bending, as well as lifting and handling up to 30 pounds
- Require basic reading, writing, and problem-solving skills
- Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate effectively with owners, guests, rental agents, and other staff members
Organizational Relationship:
Reports to the Residential Specialist Lead but in the absence of the Residential Specialist Lead, reports to General Manager.
WORK HOURS:
Generally, 32 to 40 hours per week for full-time. Workdays and hours are subject to change. Overtime will be necessary when circumstances call for extended hours.
The Residential Specialist Lead is responsible for assigning hours.
MUST TAKE AND PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK
