Job Description
The utilities team’s mandate is to establish utility service (at lightning speed!) at our portfolio of rental homes in between leases. We are searching for a highly-driven operations associate who can activate utilities for hundreds of single-family homes.
You're the ideal candidate if you:
- Highly organized and obsessed about the details; you can file applications, capture data accurately and meet deadlines.
- Excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment; you can pick up new processes quickly and overcome unforeseen obstacles to produce results
- A problem solver who can think on their feet; you know how to handle difficult processes and personalities to establish utility services.
- Perform research to understand a utility company’s application process and requirements
Must haves:
- Excellent attitude & communication skills; you can talk with customer-service reps, coordinate with our team of field-ops to coordinate utility repairs & turn-ons
- Comfortable working with web applications to perform data entry
- Access to a laptop with reliable internet and a phone for contacting utility companies
- At least 2 years of experience working in an operations role or related field
Compensation:
Base: $18/hr (up to 40 hrs/week)
Bonus program: up to $12 per activation task (~$600/wk). Subject to meeting minimum performance criteria.

Remote; must be available to work during business hours EST
