Job Description
Primary Functions: Responsible for oversight of security personnel to ensure compliance with plant security and traffic procedures. Verify and schedule security coverage and inspections as required. Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing freight per security and traffic procedures. Report any unauthorized access, incidents, breaches, or questionable conduct to client supervision immediately.

- Must have an active, current state issued driver's license. Be able to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screen.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers accurately.
- Maintain professional appearance, courtesy, and conduct, always.
- Must pass state security license exam for submission to state within 14 days of hire.
- Must pass DOT certification within 30 days of hire.
- Responsible for oversight of guards and verification of all incoming and outgoing traffic as required.
- Compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Communicate and coordinate security activities accurately and consistently with client security supervision.
- Work a 5-day 8-hour schedule with additional coverage and after hour call response as needed.
- Oversee plant radio announcements and traffic control.
- Proficient computer skills utilizing software such as SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs as needed to perform duties.
- Enter and close out maintenance notifications for assigned areas and coordinate repairs. Enter requisitions and order supplies as needed.
- Ability to maintain balance on stairs and various walking surfaces.
- Direct, oversee, and follow up to ensure guards produce quality work per instructions, procedures, specifications, and industry standards.
- Able to prioritize and coordinate accurate, timely completion of multiple tasks.
- Coordinate with client personnel to ensure adequate security and traffic support.
- Ability to evaluate situations and exercise independent judgement.
- Ability to understand, comply, and train security personnel on all Plant Policies, Procedures, and computer functions essential to security duties.
