Job Description
Electronics Technician
The Electronics Security Technician responsibilities for Clark Security & Service, LLC includes but is not limited to: Performing duties assigned for customer project as directed by the Project Manager, ensuring that all project work is completed in a timely manner within estimated timelines, ensuring that all work is completed as designed and is done to project specifications in an efficient and productive manner, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction and quality workmanship, ensuring that projects are started on time and taking personal responsibility to be at the job site ready to work 15 minutes before the directed start time.
Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager and all company initiatives, programs, policies and procedures.
Ensure that all projects/jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that project costs and expenses are controlled.
Ensure that the Project Manager is kept informed of project status on a regular basis and that any/all issues that may arise are communicated.
Maintain personal accountability and a high standard of workmanship by conducting one’s self in a professional productive manner.
Have a clear understanding of all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers.
Maintain an efficient and orderly work environment.
Maintain a credible professional and positive demeanor at all times.
Ensure a high degree of integrity with regard to all matters of company business.
Ensuring accurate representation of hours worked on all time sheets.
Support all company strategies, initiatives and programs.
Any and all responsibilities/duties as assigned by the Project Manager and/or the Company President.
Desired Skills:
A strong working knowledge of Intrusion Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, Intercom Systems and Fire Detection Systems.
Extensive knowledge of the principles of electricity, electronics and complex integrated electronic systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance, overhaul, testing and/or troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, drawings, technical manuals, handbooks and other technical documentation along with the ability to evaluate and resolve technical problems.
A working knowledge of NEC and OSHA codes and regulations relative to the appropriate applications.
Experience with installation, programming, trouble shooting and maintenance of all relevant systems.
A working knowledge of all state and local codes relative to the appropriate applications.
Possess sufficient technical skills to work independently with little or no supervision.
Professional presentation skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Good listening skills.
Industrious/hard working ethic.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
Ability to obtain Work Authorization/Security Clearance.
The ability to work legally in the United States.
Salary:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.'
