Job Description
CSC (Central Security and Communications) is currently seeking Central Station Alarm Monitor/Dispatchers. The ideal candidate has a high energy, ‘can do’ type attitude who is willing to put in the time and effort to help us ensure we continue our growth and success.

Overview
The main function of the Central Station Monitor is to receive and respond to security system alarm events timely in order to dispatch the proper authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers. We are in need of Alarm Monitors for the day shift: First – 7:30AM – 3:30PM.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven track record of operating in a fast paced, customer centric environment
- Must have the ability to operate multiple computer systems
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor burglary and fire systems for alarm events in the automated alarm monitoring system (MAS)
- Notify proper authorities upon receiving alarm signals and communicate with them and the customer to ensure the safety and well-being of the protected home/business
- Monitor camera and access control systems as needed for customers
- Receive customer phone calls pertaining to their account or system and document interactions in the MAS system
- Assist the customer over the phone in resolving system malfunctions whenever possible and scheduling service appointments when necessary
- Provide assistance checking in new or existing security systems into the Central Station by verifying the signals sent from the Alarm Technician
- Relay necessary information to the incoming shift regarding any alarm events unresolved or other important information.
- Provides assistance to the Alarm Technician when doing routine fire alarm inspections by verifying signals.
- Maintains a clean and organized work space.
- May perform special projects or miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Lead Monitor, Records Department or Central Station Director.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record and possession of valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have weekend availability

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
