Master Security is currently hiring for two on call floater positions. The applicant must have previous security experience and possess a current NC Guard Card and also a full driver's license. The post has 24 hour security coverage.
- YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NORTH CAROLINA SECURITY LICENSE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION--NO EXCEPTIONS!!
- APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SEND A COPY OF THEIR CURRENT NC SECURITY CREDENTIALS BEFORE THE POSTION WILL BE DISCUSSED
Duties Include:
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
- Must be able to use a tablet/computer/smart device
- Must have your own smartphone
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experience:
- Possess a valid security officer certificate or license
- Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems and their operation
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations effectively
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred
- Experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is a plus
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to alarms, enforcing access control procedures, and providing excellent customer service.
To excel in this role, you should have a valid security officer certificate or license, be familiar with CCTV surveillance systems, possess conflict management skills, and ideally have first aid and CPR certification. Previous experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is also beneficial.
