Job Description
Southern Siding Company is a leading new home and remodeling company specializing in turnkey exterior services. From siding installation, custom millworks, to residential roofing, we successfully manage thousands of projects throughout Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North & South Carolina, and Tennessee each year. We started our Repair & Remodel business line are successfully growing - time to add 2 more team members!
We are currently seeking an energetic, career-minded individual who is committed to being part of our exciting industry! We offer a weekly base salary, monthly truck allowance plus fuel reimbursement and monthly commissions.
(Please note - our office is located in Jackson GA, ~ 1 hour south of Atlanta. This role is in the field, and would require a visit to the office 1 - 2 x/week. Successful candidates can reside anywhere in the greater ATL area.)

Daily operations start at 6:30 AM. You will have projects throughout your assigned area.
Position Summary
The Field Manager is a hybrid sales & operations role, responsible for the planning, organizing, selling and successful completion of customer projects and overseeing subcontractor installation crews to ensure that work meets quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Meets with prospective customers/homeowners to market and sell products and services, takes measurements, provides estimates, and schedules jobs.
Bills and collects payments from customers upon job completion.
Manages multiple installation projects simultaneously across assigned market; places all related material orders, picks up materials as needed, and schedules/manages crews.
Continually monitors and manages project progress while tracking project milestones and deliverables. Identifies and troubleshoots problems and devises contingency plans to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
Builds and maintains productive relationships with the customer and crews to minimize project obstacles or issues; proactively communicates project requirements and/or changes and works to resolve any conflicts.
Recruits high performing subcontractor crews.
Adheres to general building and safety codes.
Follows all processes and procedures established by the company.
Commits to ongoing education and training to stay current on ever-changing industry demands.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity; previous experience in project and vendor management a plus.
Residential construction background helpful.
Organized and efficient approach to business, with professional style and communications.
Proficiency with modern computer systems, software and applications.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation and integrity are competencies required for your success at SSG!
