Quantum Research International, Inc. Mission:
Quantum is currently seeking a Security Specialist to provide the US Space Force (USSF) Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) support related to its mission to plan, task, integrate, provide Command and Control (C2), and support integrated Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR). C2 is conducted day-to-day, through reachback capabilities and deployable subject matter experts, in support of US Combatant Commanders (CCDRs). Assistance is provided via the JNWC NAVWAR support cell, coordination cells, and deployable theater coordination cells.
Responsibilities:
Support Security Manager in completing the following requirements:
- Process Special Program nominations and Program Access Requests (PARs) for USSPACECOM and all Component Commands. Manage special projects billet rosters encompassing USSPACECOM locations, reviewing and determining eligibility requests for personnel access consistent with directives.
- Determine physical security standards necessary for all Special Program facilities/areas within the Combatant Command and subordinate components.
- Manage and execute HQ USSPACECOM Security, Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) program.
- Support surge requirements when notified by contracting officer.
- Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Assist in maintenance of document accountability database and associated correspondence.
- Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction of classified materials.
- Maintain required daily logs for required administrative functions associated with document control.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Conduct DCII, DISS and SAPNP reviews of candidates submitted for Special Program access.
- Process security nominations and Access Requests for all JNWC divisions.
- Manage security billet rosters encompassing USSPACECOM locations.
- Support development of JNWC security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Receive and properly store classified material.
- Provide classification and declassification instructions to personnel and review documents for proper security markings. Manage COMSEC equipment and accounts.
- Comply with, coordinate, and complete a DD254 and request security clearances for personnel.
- Complete visitor requests for personnel requiring access to classified information.
- Notify servicing information protection office of contract award. Conduct period security training and briefings as needed to support the contract.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or combination of lower-level formal education, training and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a PSO or CSPO.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD TS/CSI Secret clearance.
