Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Security/ Safety Manager, performs duties to ensure the protection, security and safety of MGRMC property as well as the security and safety of patients, visitors and employees.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least18 years of age.
- Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
- 2 years' previous experience in security, law enforcement and/or military.
- The ability to understand written and oral instructions; and the ability to investigate and write concise, and well thought out reports.
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
- An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
- Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
- Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in criminal justice, fire, medical or related field.
- One-year computer skills with word processing programs, internet, e-mail and spreadsheets.
- Previous computer experience or other related electronic records systems.
Position Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation Range: $18.00 to $24.20
