This associate will work Full Time primarily at 2862 Johnson Ferry Rd Suite 250 Marietta, GA 30062 but will travel to nearby locations (within 10 miles) approximately 50% of the time.
Job Summary
Provides comprehensive allergy testing, compounds allergenic extracts, and provides injections
Responsibilities:
· Interviews patients and documents basic medical history.
· Takes vitals and documents findings in the patient chart.
· Performs patient evaluations by monitoring skin scratch tests and injection site reactions.
· Compounds allergenic extracts.
· Maintains appropriate lab logs.
· Prepares and cleans treatment rooms and medical instruments.
· Manages equipment and supply inventory.
· Serves as a liaison between physicians and other individuals such as patients.
· Copies and mails requests for medical records ensuring HIPAA compliance.
· Functions as a team member, including assuming various responsibilities within the organization such as handling inbound phone calls, insurance verifications, billing, and scheduling patient appointments, etc.
· Acts as professional and courteous liaison between patient and physician’s office.
· Trains and educates patients and physician staff
· Always represent yourself as a professional as the face of Pinnacle Allergy offering in-office customer service with the ability to address all questions/concerns promptly
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum Experience: 1-3 Years
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Medical Assistant
- Overall knowledge of medical terminology.
- General knowledge of medical technology and patient management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with time management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent adaptable problem solver and maintains an attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, and self-driven with an ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrates exceptional professional skills.
- Highly dependable and punctual.

- Skin Prick Testing
- Intracutaneous testing (Intradermal)
- Pulmonary Function Test
Work Environment
- Exposure to local physician offices.
- Exposure to allergen immunotherapy.
- Exposure to patients' skin.
- Protective clothing or equipment is required including gloves, and protective eyewear.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 per hour; Travel reimbursement between offices of $.655/mile up to $500/monthly
