Job Purpose
The eLearning Assistant is a member of the Content & Curriculum Team at Kids Included Together (KIT) and reports to the eLearning Director. The fully remote position will be the hands-on Administrator in the eLearning system.
As an eLearning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our Learning Management System (LMS) and eLearning programs. You will be responsible for updating course catalogs, managing content, ensuring quality assurance, and organizing multiple courses across diverse eLearning portals/academies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us deliver outstanding educational experiences to our students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General Administration & Reporting
· Provides LMS administrative support to the eLearning Director.
· Attends monthly KIT staff meetings and other meetings, as assigned.
· Provides weekly status reports to the eLearning Director.
LMS Management
· Creates course shells for self-paced courses.
- Regularly update and maintain course catalogs for various eLearning academies.
- Add new courses, update course descriptions, and ensure accurate pricing and availability.
- Collaborate with content creators and instructional designers to upload and organize course materials.
- Ensure that course content is up-to-date and accurate, follow standardized eLearning templates (course structure document), cross-reference Salesforce content records, and communicate any updates with course team members.
· Escalate any content-related issues promptly. Maintain spreadsheets and project boards with up-to-date course information related to multiple KIT Academies. Creates learner groups, coupon codes or VIP passes for new or prospective learners.
· Assists with improved tagging and searching capabilities within KIT Academy
· Maintains and organizes eLearning team digital assets including templates, video and audio files.
Quality Assurance:
· Reviews courses, multimedia, and tests as Second Set of Eyes for functionality, WCAG and ADA compliance
User Support:
· Manages and ensures resolution of eLearning, catalog, and technical issues related to Online Learning services for internal and external customers.
- Keep up with LMS updates & add-ons.
· Assists with the User Guides and Tutorials.
· Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
Reporting:
- Generate reports on course usage, enrollment, and other relevant metrics to relay to Curriculum team.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
1. Editing
· Edits and manipulates audio and video files, as needed.
· Combines scripts/captions with videos: edits captions, adds branded video intros, and outros, makes minor cuts or revisions. Camtasia preferred.
· Converts caption files from VTT to SRT or TXT files.
· Manages zoom mp4 and caption files.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) – Required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- Experience in Education (Aftercare, Teacher, Teacher’s Aid, Curriculum Developer, etc.)
- Experience in Customer Services (technical)
- Prior experience in eLearning or education administration a plus
Competencies
- Knowledge of disability inclusion standards, ADA, and WCAG
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes for educational materials
- Prior Help Desk support experience is a plus
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and organization skills
- Collaboration mindset, able to build trust and work through conflict in a constructive manner
- Preferred software skills: Microsoft Office Suite, YouTube Studio, PowerPoint or Keynote, Zoom/video conference, and Trello board
- Highly responsive with customer service mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Belief in the right of all children to participate in their schools and communities, regardless of their ability
- Basic video editing skills: a huge plus

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees work remotely from their home state and are expected to gather once a year for an all staff in-person event.
