CleanSlate is a national medical group providing treatment for the chronic disease of addiction. Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for people suffering from opioid and alcohol addictions. We're accomplishing this first through high-quality medication-assisted treatment (MAT) led by physicians and licensed medical providers in a convenient outpatient environment.

Center Hours:
Monday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant II, you will function as an integral member of the patient care team. Assisting in the care of our patients by performing necessary laboratory and support tasks while maintaining compliance with the established policies and procedures of CSC.
Prepares patients for the health care visit by collecting urine screen
Obtain blood samples as required
Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, obtaining chief complaints; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during visits; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments.
Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
Scanning of patient documents into Electronic Health Record
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Setting up, cleaning, and disinfecting exam rooms and medical equipment and maintaining stocks of medical supplies in room as required.
Maintains patient confidentiality and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e., refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.).
Scheduling new and recurring patient appointments for mid-level provider (PA or NP), physicians and other clinical providers, as needed.
Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Highest level of customer service, compassion, professionalism, and empathy to all patients always.
All other tasks or projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. High school diploma or equivalent
Must be age 18 or older
1 years experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred, not required
To be qualified for an MA II status, the employee must be MA Certified or hold a phlebotomy certificate.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people
Practice safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods
