Job Description

Seeking Registered or Certified Medical Assistant / Scribe to become a part of our team! You will perform routine clinical assignments in the role of medical assistant with electronic medical records scribe responsibilities to the providers to assist in keeping the clinic running smoothly and servicing patients in a timely manner. Applicants must be responsible, confident, mature, punctual, self-motivating and possess the ability to multi-task. Experience required, interventional pain management experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Triage patients / Perform all vitals and collect patients medical information
- Handle all clinical and scribe duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Process Prior Authorizations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in working in a specialty medical practice
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms.
- Triage patients by checking vitals.
- Must be able to perform accurate blood pressures.
- Must be able to perform Blood Draws on patients.
- Patient charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and charting all allergies to medications.
- Assisting in lab testing when needed.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.

- The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with co-workers and manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
