We are hiring immediately! We're needing to hire a Medical Assistant at our Everett and Shoreline branches. Join THS and help us meet the demand for behavioral health services in the Puget Sound region.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the psychiatric schedule
- Fielding psychiatric team calls
- Making and rescheduling psychiatric team appointment
- Facilitating refill requests from patients
- Submitting refills to pharmacies
- Taking vital signs for psychiatric patients
- Administering injections as requested by medical team
- Documenting clinical actions in the medical records system
- Coordinating lab requests to assure that psychiatric practitioners have access to labs that have been ordered
- Other tasks as assigned
Medical Assistant Qualifications/Required Experience:
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Minimum of one year experience as a medical assistant.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
