Job Description
· Oversee and manages general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and taxes.
· Oversee and review reconciliation of statements for all bank accounts and corporate statement.
· Prepare review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Review and train department personnel.
· Provides oversight of and daily guidance to direct reports.
· Process monthly recurring journal entries.
· Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
· Review financials and process monthly accruals.
· Job cost analytical support.
· Maintain fixed asset schedule.
· Develop and maintain cycle count program in coordination with divisional leadership.
· Gather month-end inventory data and post adjustments as applicable.
· Monitor cash and consolidate funds as needed.
· Process weekly check run and submit positive pay and NACHA files to bank.
· Issue new cards, provide cardholder support, manage card program.
· Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments).
· Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems.
· Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades.
· Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
· Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
· Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting team members.
· Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
· Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
· Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
· Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing.
· Any other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
