This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Landowner Affairs Team Member
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Landowner Affairs Team Member will include:
Compensation (Range): $32.10 / hour
The Landowner Affairs Team is the first point of contact and direct link for our landowners. The Landowner Affairs Team promotes loyalty by building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our 24K + landowners. Our goal is to support and resolve all landowner needs, inquiries and concerns to help maintain or build landowner loyalty, confidence, and satisfaction which is critical to business success. The Landowner Affairs Team problem solves by researching data points in turn addressing concerns and working with our business partners both internally and externally to resolve the landowner issues.
Triage internal and external communications and correspondence from landowners, business partners, attorneys, tax professionals, authorized representatives, customers etc.
Professionally and effectively develop positive influential relationships and handle inquiries, concerns, and requests to accurately assess and efficiently resolve issues within a timely manner in line with and landowner expectations.
Collaborates and builds long term relationships with cross-functional business partners both internally and externally
Identify leads from our assessments with landowners to assist Real Estate Acquisitions in determining if an opportunity exists for extensions, permanent easements, buyouts, etc.
Generate and provide financial statements upon requests for reconciliation of accounts.
Research and abstract data through multiple tools to retrieve information needed to accurately resolve landowner issues. Abstracting the data needed to make an assessment includes interpretation of ground leases and various legal documents, reviewing and interpreting recurring billing, escalations, accounts payable ledger and JDE address book detailed information.
Identify billing or data integrity issues, verify accuracy of payments or billings, and notify appropriate contacts if an inaccuracy is determined or escalation is needed.
Create work tasks and/ or communication as necessary to initiate additional review by Real Estate Specialist where action is needed outside of our realm of authority.
Determine if ownership change is warranted and distribute ownership change package as deemed necessary. Initiate ownership change review of documents received, request any missing documents, determine status 2 payment holds and request as needed, provide documents to Property Management Operations Team for further processing.
Facilitate 1099 annual campaign for accounting by resolving landowner questions, concerns, or issues.
Manage landowner direct deposit process and verification in compliance with Accounts Payable SOX guidelines and returned check tracking and reissuance.
Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with various business partners to resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
Identify missing or incorrect property owner’s personal information and take the appropriate actions to update within our corporate systems.
Assists Property Management Operations and other departments with special projects as needed.
Instills the B3 values of the company
Delivers highly complex information in a polished, precise, and compelling manner
Creates rich documents and reports that skillfully and completely deliver the necessary information to stakeholders
Excellent time management skills, including ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently

Job Requirements
As a Landowner Affairs Team Member you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
Some Real Estate experience preferred or relevant industry experience
At least two (2) years customer support experience
Excellent telephone, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to solve problems and diffuse angry landowners while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
Knowledge of MS Office Suite of programs
Knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus
Knowledge of CCISites is a plus
