We are growing and seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is willing to travel between all offices, has experience, has a strong desire to help others, and works well on a team.
The role of The Clinical Assistant is to aid in coordinating and dispensing medications.

Clinical Assistant Responsibilities
Ensure patient information remains private according to HIPAA regulations.
Responsible for ensuring proper and accurate consent forms.
Responsible for Coordinating telemedicine requests for medications.
Co-manages department email.
Communicate with patients by asking probing questions to patients to ensure requests are accurately presented to providers.
Interprets medication orders.
Communicates with providers to follow up on medication requests when necessary.
Dispenses as appropriate.
Performs proper inventory management tasks when called upon in clinics and other locations.
Helps with medication efficiency in clinics when called upon.
Coordinates med orders of patient medication.
Cross-trained to perform clinical tasks as called upon.
Coordinates scheduling patient visits with schedulers when necessary.
Educating team members on processes even outside of the medications department.
Assists Pharmacy Operations Manager in planning for growth.
Duties as otherwise assigned by the Pharmacy Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially on the phone.
Excellent phone etiquette even when dealing with frustrated individuals.
Preferably fluent in Spanish and English
Attention to detail.
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple incoming streams of communication and keep requests organized.
Being able to manage work email in addition to the above responsibilities.
Critical thinking
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Fluent in both English/Spanish written and verbal - Preferred
