Department: Data Entry
Reports To: Department Manager
Status: Non-exempt
Summary
The Data Entry Clerk will be inserting information into our database. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy with a keen eye for detail, and understanding of data confidentiality principles. You will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, and record keeping. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that is easily accessible through a digital database.
Essential Duties
Enter a variety of data using current technology
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes
Type in data provided directly from customers
Review and enter data updates in the systems
Review discrepancies in data received
Advise supervisor of issues related to data
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of receptionist experience
High school diploma or GED required
Able to read, write and speak professionally
Excellent customer service skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) helpful
Exceptional outgoing and friendly personality
Team-player
Multi-tasked
