Summary/Objective
The Supply Chain Engineer will manage our offshore supply chain, interact with customers for product development and design, co-ordinate tooling and production of new and existing products. This role will liaise between our customers, production

- Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.
- Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
- Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
- Record or oversee recording of information to ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Complete production reports, purchase orders, and material, tool, and equipment lists.
- Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
- Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts and assess cost and responsibility.
- Schedule deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education:
BA in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
5+ years of experience working with metal
Skills Required:
· Fluent in Mandarin(+plus, not required)
· Injection molding experience
. Insert molding
· Experience with metal machining, fabricating, and forming
· The ability to communicate and work with a variety of customers/Commercial Acumen
· 3D modeling capability (Preferably Solidworks)

Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full Time Salary position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and nights to meet customer demands and international time zones.
Travel:
Up to 50%

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
